NEPTUNO | December 2022
Neptuno is a twelve-page short story that I created for the course Narrativa Secuencial: Cómic (Graphic Storytelling) as part of the Fine Arts programme at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. The original text was written in Spanish, and a Dutch version has since been produced as well.
The story takes place in a world divided into two realms: "above water" and "underwater." When Yara is born, she appears to belong to both worlds.
Neptuno is a fairy tale about being different, about family, and about the search for a place where one truly feels at home.
